Spillo
An anonymous Filipino freedom wall where people spill the things they don't usually say out loud. No account, and every spill is gone in 24 hours.

The Problem
There was no simple, free place to say something heavy, funny, or embarrassing without an account attached to it. Most places to post tie every word to a profile and keep it online for good, so people hold the hard stuff in.
The Solution
Spillo lets adults write a spill of up to 500 characters in English, Tagalog, or Taglish, with no registration. Each spill disappears after 24 hours. There are no comments or DMs, only six reactions (aray, haha, hala, hugs, omg, same) and an anonymous preset note, so nobody can pile on. It is free, with no ads.

What I Learned
Spillo first ran on my own on-prem server, a machine I run myself, as a Laravel app. That's where I learned how CI works: a GitLab pipeline built the app into a Docker image, pushed it to a Docker registry, and that image was the final product the server pulled and ran. Later I moved Spillo to Vercel and Supabase. I ported the Laravel API to Next.js route handlers one endpoint at a time, with side-by-side checks that every response matched, so the live app kept working the same through the move.
